(1) Preparation before X-ray machine operation

1, on-site operation

a) When X-rays are carried out on site, a safety line should be set up to determine the “Control Zone” and “Management Zone” and set up obvious warning signs.

b) The operator should wear a personal dose pen.

2. Preparation before power-on

a) If you are new to the X-ray machine or the first-time operator, read the instruction manual of the equipment and use the operation and maintenance equipment of the X-ray machine correctly.

b) Check if the power supply and the device's nominal voltage match.

c) Check if the air pressure of the air-insulated X-ray machine meets the requirements.

(two), the operation of X-ray machine

1, strict training machine

For X-ray machines that are not used continuously, the machine must be trained in accordance with the instructions in the instruction manual.

2, reliable grounding

When using an X-ray machine, both the control box and the high voltage generator must be reliably grounded.

a) The portable X-ray machine uses a Φ10X300 grounding metal rod and is driven into the underground 250mm deep soil.

b) The frequency conversion air-cooled X-ray machine is strictly prohibited to use the ground wire of the welding machine as the grounding body.

c) Stable X-ray machines generally use a fixed ground.

3, check the power supply

The power supply voltage should meet the nominal value specified in the X-ray machine manual, and its fluctuation value should not exceed ±10% of the rated value. If necessary, a regulator-type stable power supply can be added to ensure that the X-ray machine works normally.

4, preheating in advance

Before the X-ray machine is turned on, the filament should be preheated for more than 2 minutes to extend the life of the X-ray tube.

5, cooling and rest

a) X-ray machine should be reliably cooled in the work process. The gas-insulated machine should check whether the cooling fan on the machine head is running normally, ensure that the X-ray is fully cooled, prevent overheating, and avoid shortening the life of the X-ray tube.

b) X-ray machines generally require a working and rest time of 1:1.

d) Connect the power cable and high-voltage cable plug to the control box, high-voltage generator and cooling system to ensure good contact.

3, check after power on

a) After the power is turned on, the power indicator on the control panel panel lights up.

b) Check the operation of the cooling system (whether the head fan of the air insulation machine is operating normally).

4 exposure control

a) First check the “door-to-machine” interlocking device, set the warning light above the working door, and press the “high pressure open” button after normal.

b) If an abnormality is found during the exposure process, press the “High-voltage off” button to cut off the cause of the high-pressure analysis before considering to continue the exposure.

c) After the exposure is over, when the buzzer of the air insulation machine rings, “KV” will automatically return to zero, the red indicator light will be off, the high voltage will be cut off, and the exposure time knob will be reset.
