CFDA reminds consumers not to purchase medical devices that have been written off

Recently, the State Food and Drug Administration found in advertising monitoring that 15 medical devices such as Baima Temple Pain Xiaotie and Tongxiao Pian (attached to the specific list) produced by Shanghai Taiyi Biotechnology (Zhoukou) Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. The product issued false and illegal advertisements and the circumstances were serious. After verification, the above-mentioned product production approval number has been cancelled by the food and drug supervision and management department and is an illegal product. The General Food and Drug Administration has instructed the relevant provincial bureaus to investigate and deal with the above-mentioned products in accordance with the law, and the suspected public security organs have been investigated for criminal responsibility.

The State Food and Drug Administration has issued a warning on safe consumption to remind consumers: Do not blindly believe in false advertising and do not purchase the above products. Consumers find that the illegal products mentioned above can be reported by dialing the complaint and reporting phone 12331.

Consumers who find suspicious advertisements can go to the State Food and Drug Administration website data query system to verify the authenticity of product information and advertisements, and should not blindly believe that they are exaggerating and false propaganda in order to avoid losses to physical health and property.
