In addition, the 5975T is also suitable for more applications requiring rapid analytical applications.
Agilent engineers and technicians have developed a large number of applications for the above several application areas, including the following six popular applications.
Application 1 : Rapid analysis of pesticide residues in vegetables
Food safety is about people's daily lives and life safety. In response to the current frequent food safety challenges and helping to extend food safety regulation to the source, Agilent collaborated with the China Academy of Inspection and Quarantine in 2010 to successfully develop a mobile pesticide laboratory analysis method using 5975T. The testing department cooperated to open the 5975T mobile laboratory from Beijing to the vegetable testing site hundreds of kilometers away, achieving the best results of zero distance detection of pesticide residues in vegetables.
As shown in Figure 1, the 5975T mobile laboratory can analyze any of the 926 pesticides and endocrine disruptors in 5 minutes in a number of experiments with Agilent's application engineers.

Application 2 : Rapid analysis of plasticizers
After the sudden plasticizer incident in Taiwan at the end of May 2011, the Ministry of Health issued an urgent announcement to include plasticizers in the list of non-edible substances and misused food additives. Agilent introduced the rapid analysis method of plasticizer based on 5975T technology in the first time, and formed the most authoritative Agilent plasticizer analysis overall solution in the industry. The introduction of this solution solves the problem that customers face different kinds of substrates and different regulatory requirements in the analysis of plasticizers, and also provides the best technical guarantee for the analysis of plasticizers on the market.
Using the 5975T LTM GCMS instrument system LTM patented technology to quickly raise and lower the temperature of the column, Figure 2 is a 5 times national standard GB/T 21911-2008 speed analysis of 17 plasticizer 2ppm mixed standard SCAN and SIM spectrum, pole The earth has increased the speed at which GC/MS instruments analyze 17 plasticizers in food and beverage.

Application 3 : Continuous online analysis of VOCs in the ambient atmosphere meeting EPA standard method TO15/TO17
Atmospheric environmental VOCs pollution problems are becoming more and more prominent. The "2010 National Environmental Monitoring Work Points" and the "National "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" Environmental Protection Work Development Trends" propose to increase the monitoring of ozone, VOCs and other pollutants into urban air quality. Comprehensive assessment and evaluation of indicators, and real-time release of automatic monitoring data of atmospheric and surface water VOCs to the whole society. However, the analytical analysis of environmental VOCs monitoring by traditional laboratories is slow, which leads to sample loss and affects the reliability of the results. Agilent Mobile Labs addresses the challenges of traditional laboratories, supporting multi-featured portfolio monitoring and online, automated, and rapid analysis.
In the experiment of Figure 3, the airborne volatile toxic organic compounds (VOCs) method is integrated into online sampling and analysis. The target compounds quantified by this method include hydrocarbons (C4-C6), halogenated hydrocarbons, benzene-based aromatic hydrocarbons (C6–C9), and many polar, highly active oxygen-containing volatile organic compounds (OVOCs). ), fully meet the calibration and detection limits specified in the EPA TO15/TO17524.2 method.

Application 4 : Determination of VOCs in drinking water by static headspace injection ( EPA Method 524 )
In view of the increasing number of water pollution incidents, the need to analyze the organic pollutants in drinking water using mobile on-site water quality monitoring devices has become increasingly urgent. Monitoring volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in drinking water is a major task of mobile water quality monitoring stations, requiring fast and accurate detection of target and unknown contaminants.
Using the 5975T LTM GC/MSD and the 7694E Headspace Sampler, Agilent has established an ultra-fast method for monitoring water contamination for use in environmental monitoring mobile laboratories. Compared with the work of traditional laboratories, the analysis cycle of each sample can be shortened by 40%, and the data processing time is also shortened by using DRS software, as shown in Figure 4. The results show that the Agilent Headspace Sampler and the onboard 5975T LTM GC/MSD system can be used to quantify VOCs in drinking water, meeting the calibration and detection limits specified by the EPA 524.2 method.

Application 5 : PAH analysis of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in water
Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) are organic compounds having a plurality of benzene rings. In recent years, PAH pollution in water has become more and more serious. Sudden events such as oil spills at gas stations, leaks from tank trucks and tankers often cause serious pollution to soil and water. The Agilent 5975T supports rapid detection of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and can analyze 16 PAHs in 10 minutes, see Figure 5.
