At the same time, the research tools and analytical methods used in this study laid the foundation for the study of consumer sensory analysis of other foods and beverages.
The study used a combination of non-invasive biometrics (EEG, Noldus facial expression analysis system , body temperature, heart rate, etc.) and sensory analysis techniques (questionnaires) to assess consumer acceptance of beer. The study tested nine types of beer (shown in Table 1 below) and selected 30 consumers (of which male, 19; female 11).
