The direction of movement of the stage and the focus handwheel Correspondingly, select the appropriate position. The coarse and fine adjustment hand wheel can adjust the lifting and lowering of the stage, and the fine adjustment hand wheel is used to adjust the sharpness of the image of the measured object.

5, eyepiece diopter adjustment

The diopter adjustment ring is adjusted according to the gaze of the left and right eyes, and the user takes full advantage of the objective lens and has a parfocal function.

1) Move the 40X objective lens to the optical path, and turn the coarse and fine focus handwheel to focus on the specimen.

2) Move the 10X objective (or 4X objective) to the light path.

3) The left eye passes through the left eyepiece and focuses on the specimen by turning the diopter ring on the left eyepiece and fine-tuning the focus handwheel. Repeat the above steps to reach the left and right eyes and see the image at the same time.

6, concentrator vertical position adjustment

Use the concentrator lift handle to adjust it to the upper limit, then lower it slightly. If the background image is scattered, you can adjust the concentrator up and down slightly to make it disappear.

7, choose the objective lens

Rotate the objective lens converter to select the desired objective magnification and adjust the aperture stop according to the selected objective.

8, adjust the aperture stop

Set the condenser aperture stop adjustment lever to the number with the same objective magnification in the optical path.

Aperture stop adjustment

1 The aperture stop adjustment lever changes the aperture stop size. If the aperture stop is reduced, the brightness and resolution will decrease, while the contrast and depth of field will increase. Conversely, if you open a large aperture stop, the brightness and resolution will increase, while the contrast and depth of field will decrease.

2 To obtain an ideal image with the proper contrast, the aperture stop can be adjusted to 70% to 80% of the numerical aperture of the objective. The aperture stop controls the numerical aperture of the condenser. Do not use it to adjust the brightness. Use the brightness control knob to adjust the brightness. When observing the aperture pupil image, the eyepiece is removed and viewed directly through the binocular tube.

3 The numerical aperture of the condenser is expressed in the corresponding objective magnification. The 40X/0.65 mark refers to the magnification of 40X and the numerical aperture of 0.65. The position of the aperture stop adjustment rod.

9, oil immersion observation

The objective lens labeled "oil" is an oil immersion objective. When using the oil mirror, it is necessary to add a microscope for the oil immersion between the objective lens and the cover glass. Be sure to close the cover after using the oil. After long-term use, the cover may be loose, so it is necessary to check regularly and close the cap to prevent oil leakage. Do not over-squeeze the container, which may cause the oil to suddenly squirt out of the container. During use, wipe off the oil immersion on the outer surface of the container.

10, adjust the torque of the coarse focus hand wheel

The tightness of the coarse focus hand wheel can be adjusted. To increase the torque, turn the coarse focus handwheel torque adjustment ring counterclockwise. This adjustment ring is on the inside of the coarse focus hand wheel. To reduce the torque, turn the adjustment ring clockwise. Don't adjust too loose, or the stage will automatically slide down.
