However, the price of Zhejiang Fritillaria rose to 52 yuan/kg on the second day. On October 28, the price of Zhejiang Fritillaria in Xinyi market has risen to 62 yuan/kg.

The soaring prices of Chinese herbal medicines have also drastically increased the expenditure on the seeds of drug farmers. Zhao Jiaguang bought 800 pounds of mother-of-pearl in July. The price per kilogram was 12 yuan, and it cost nearly 10,000 yuan. Recently, some villagers also bought 800 pounds of Fritillaria seeds and spent 18,000 yuan, and the price of seeds per kilogram exceeded 20 yuan. "Last year, as long as the seed was only 3.5 yuan per catty, it is now more than 20 yuan."

Dealers make money by selling goods

Medicinal herbs from the field to the pharmacy, drug dealers are a key part. Chen Xianfen has been doing medicinal business for 28 years. It is a large dealer of local herbal medicine distributors and sells more than 1,000 tons of medicinal herbs each year.

Compared with the double benefits of drug peasants, the benefits of circulation in the middle are even more abundant. Take this year’s craziest heterophylla as an example, the price paid by drug farmers is basically around RMB 20/kg, the price that one-handed dealers sell to the downstream is about RMB 240/kg, and the price placed at pharmacies is RMB 900/ In kilograms, 97% of profits are divided in circulation.

However, more pharmaceutical distributors feel familiar with the current drug madness. Since 2000, Pan'an's Zhejiang Fritillaria market has continuously risen. Affected by SARS, Fritillaria sinensis rose from 10 yuan per kilogram to 200 yuan in just 4 years. Prices began to plummet in 2004, fell to 30 yuan in the year, and fell to 20 yuan in 2005.

In the "roller coaster" market in Nabo, many drug farmers suffered heavy losses, and distributors of high stocks lost money and lost everything. Since herbs are mostly annual plants, new herbs will be on sale every year in April and May, and old herbs are often sold at discounted prices, which is why many dealers are shipping at low prices recently.
