In recent years, people have devoted themselves to researching the method of artificial breeding of green-browed turtles. Since 1984, the author began to adopt domestic green-haired turtles. Currently, the author has successfully explored its rapid growth pattern and shortened the time for breeding of commercial green-haired turtles from two years to five months. Now we introduce its breeding methods as follows for your reference.

The green-eared turtle is a small animal formed by the epiphytic base algae, such as the yellow-throated turtle and the green turtle. The culture method is to put the genus algae and turtles in a water container. When sunlight shines on the turtle, it begins to appear on the turtle's back for about one month. The specific method is:

First rub the rough surface of the yellow-throated turtle shell with an emery cloth and then wash it with clean water and put it into a small cylinder or a goldfish bowl. Add the clean water to flood the turtle back to more than 3 cm. The water should be more than appropriate.

Basal algae are harvested from stones in rivers or streams, or from under the hull, and are dropped into a turtle tank with a hammer. The water is light green.

After putting the algae into the turtle's tank, change the water every few days to keep the water clean. And add a small amount of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium fertilizers and vitamins, cytokinin, to promote the germination, proliferation of bryophytes, increase parasitic density. Every 7 days, turtle-friendly oysters, small fish, shrimp, and legumes are added to make the turtle grow robustly.

Turtle tanks are exposed to sunlight, about 2 hours a day, noon to avoid the scorching sun, such as indoor breeding fluorescent lamps available to fill light. The water temperature can be maintained at 8-35 °C, but the best 18-28 °C. Keep it above 0°C during the winter. If -8°C, cover the tank with warmth to prevent it from freezing. In the summer, the temperature of the water should be controlled within 37°C to prevent discoloration of the basement algae.

After being cultured by the above method, the turtle will grow a short "green hair" (ie, 8 days at the fastest), which is the genus of the genus Basidiomycetes. Turtle's green hair, up to 9 cm in length. Generally 5 cm long is a qualified product. In addition, turtles are afraid of toxic substances and strong acid and alkaline substances, and they should avoid contact during breeding.
